Soffit and Fascia

Soffit and fascia will be generally be installed with new siding on your home. At Siding Systems, we recognize that not all homes, brick or stucco for example, will need new siding. They will only need new soffit and fascia, along with a new rain gutter system. We have developed methods to make the soffit and fascia at your Salt Lake City home stand out from those around you.

Soffit and fascia are also known as the eaves. The area facing down at a right angle to your siding is the soffit, and between the soffit and roofing is the fascia.

Popular combinations are:

Aluminum soffit and fascia are by far the best value with zero maintenance for the life of the product.

Hardie board fiber cement/LP SmartSide soffits with Mira-Tec fascia is popular but will need to be painted.

Another option would be to replace the Mira-Tec fascia at your Salt Lake City home with aluminum.

Cedar soffit and fascia will need to have a finish applied on a regular basis. We could also use cedar soffit with an aluminum fascia. This is a popular option.

Thermally modified wood soffits with aluminum fascia give the best of both worlds. The beauty of wood soffit and the protection of aluminum fascia will result in zero maintenance for the life of the product. This is by far the best-looking combination available and is our choice for upper-end remodels.
